What to Bring

After an intake with one of Farrell’s clinicians, residents can prepare for their stay. The Farrell Treatment Center provides furnished rooms, delicious home-cooked meals, and laundry facilities.

Here’s what to bring to make your stay comfortable and effective:

  • ID and insurance information (if covered)
  • Comfortable clothing, underwear, socks, and shoes for at least 1 week
  • Any prescription medications in original prescription bottles
  • Personal care items
  • Shower shoes
  • MP3 players, CD players and CDs, or a radio (devices that have cameras or with internet capabilities are not permitted)
  • Outerwear
  • Books, art supplies, or other offline activities
  • Hard candies
  • Tobacco or cigarettes (if currently being used)

We recommend NOT bringing:

  • More than $500 in cash
  • Laptops or devices that can access the internet
  • Phones with camera functions
  • Cologne containing alcohol
  • Aerosol cans
  • Snacks
  • Protein powder
  • Drug or alcohol-related merchandise

The Farrell Treatment Center cannot guarantee safe or secure storage for expensive or valuable items. The Farrell Treatment Center is not responsible for lost or damaged items.

Farrell can provide personal care items like deodorant, soap, toothbrushes, and toothpaste to individuals who cannot provide their own. Farrell also has a limited supply of clothing and underclothes for individuals without a change of clothes.
