The Farrell Treatment Center might be the right fit for your client/patient. Here are some frequently asked questions to help you connect your client to the services right for them.

Please call for an assessment. If a client needs to enter a withdrawal management program (“detox”), an admissions coordinator will provide them with information about facilities and a referral. If withdrawal management is not needed, a clinician will set up a phone screening with the client.

Currently, Farrell does no provide withdrawal management services; however, we work with facilities and hospitals throughout the state.

Yes. Farrell has with the DOC to find treatment for clients. Please call to get required information.

An individual must have documentation of a PPD test performed in the last 6 months, a copy of a physical performed within the last year, and a bio-psych-social analysis. The bio-psych-social can be done at Farrell or provided by the referral source if a client is coming from a withdrawal management program.

Farrell offers intensive outpatient (IOP) and outpatient services to both men and women experiencing substance use challenges while living in the community. IOP is offered with day or evening hours, with sessions three times a week for three hours a day. Outpatient counseling is offered in group, individual, or family therapies. Counselors are specialized in a range of topics like trauma, anger management, family therapy, grief, and loss. An individual must call directly to set up a brief phone screening and screening with a
clinician.

IOP and outpatient services are offered at our New Britain location and at Gilead’s Middletown Outpatient Clinic. As a program of Gilead Community Services, FTC can offer a continuum of care that includes mental health support. The Middletown Outpatient Clinic is located at 230 Main St. Ext., Middletown, CT 06457.

Intensive Residential Treatment

An inpatient program for men with primary substance use disorders.

Intensive Outpatient Treatment

Available for both men and women that need support and structure while living in the community.

Individual & Group Outpatient Therapy

Specialized outpatient counseling offered in group, individual or family therapies.
