Each year staff nominate someone who has gone above and beyond in service to clients to be honored at the Client Banquet.
Clients and staff honored Dale Chasse, Executive Chef at the Farrell Treatment Center, for his inspirational and unwavering dedication. He is a living embodiment of gratitude, and he works and lives in a way that makes the lives of everyone he encounters better. He is a phenomenal cook, and he pours his heart and soul into every meal he cooks for everyone at Farrell. He does his work joyfully, with an understanding that being nourished physically, mentally, and emotionally are important foundations for recovery.
His role extends far beyond the kitchen. Dale is also a team player in every sense. Dale is a trusted mentor and source of encouragement to Farrell’s clients, offering kind words, sound guidance, and a listening ear. He has a unique ability to connect with people from all walks of life, showing each person the respect, dignity, and compassion they deserve.
Dale starts each day with a hilarious and encouraging e-mail. He has the gift of leadership by example and encouragement, and he never fails to put a smile on our faces. The work we do is hard, and his daily reminder that “together we got this” is appreciated beyond words.
